The TENAX closure is a highly engineered, self locking snap fastener that cannot come undone, once engaged, yet it releases instantly by simply pulling upon the head of the button component. Manufactured from nickel over brass, the tenax product range includes two styles of studs to accommodate both soft and hard goods applications. While often seen in use on a number of British Automotive applications, the uniqueness of the "TENAX" products has generated much interest in the marine industry as well.		The TENAX safety fastener is easy to lock. Just press the upper part on to the lower one, making sure that the handle cap has a sufficient play.
		The TENAX safety fastener is not released by forces exerted on the parts being joined.
		Only when the grip cap is activated will the locking device release and the parts separate.
